A followup to the initial project–this piece is a handcraft study of reclaimed, used fiber. I set out to create a sampler of different crochet stitch techniques and textures. I fused together vintage and reclaimed polyester and acrylic yarn with cotton crochet thread to make this experimental garment. I have been fascinated with creating garments from thread/yarn since my undergrad designer days, where I would create dozens of emblems of machine-embroidered lace and mold them to a fashion figure. This study is not much different. 

I have been drawn to defining the occult and folklore in my art and designs and the feeling that the color blue signifies.
