If you have ever read She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb, then you know how much of a rollercoaster I meant when I selected the title of this episode. This book is a wonderful illustration of what coming-of-age(s) in traumatic ways can be.
In today’s episode, I discuss how I have simply come apart at the seams, in ways that have rendered previous versions of myself undetectable. Because I have nurtured survival mode for so long in my life, it has felt dispossessing to shift away from this normalcy. I discuss how it has manifested in my life and my art practice.
